Mara Bulzan is a senior in the Sciences Po–Columbia University Dual Bachelor Program, majoring in Human Rights and Political Science. Originally from Romania, she is especially interested in humanitarian interventions, political violence, and ethnic conflict. She serves as an Editor of the Student Journal for the Study of Human Rights and as Chair of International Humanitarian Law for the Columbia University Red Cross. She has also been a Teaching Assistant in political philosophy for the Freedom and Citizenship program in the Department of American Studies and recently completed an internship at the human rights NGO Children’s Rights. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a PhD in Political Science and reimagine peacekeeping operations.
