Lieutenant Colonel Adam Ropelewski is the 2025-26 US Army War College Fellow at the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies. He is a United States Army Field Artillery Officer with over 20 years of experience in leadership, operations, planning, security cooperation, education, and professional development. Adam holds a B.A. in History from the University of Scranton and an M.P.S. in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University. He has served in leadership and staff positions in various assignments in the United States, Germany, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Adam most recently served as an Observer/Trainer/Coach at the Army’s only combat training center outside the United States at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Bavaria, Germany where he trained and assessed US Army, allied and partnered artillery units. He is a native of South Amboy, NJ.
