Emanuel Boussios received his Ph.D. from Stony Brook University.  Currently, he teaches at SUNY-Nassau Community College, as well as an adjunct in the Criminology program at Hofstra University.  He has served as a Visiting Scholar at New York University.  His research interests include analyzing American attitudes towards the War on Terrorism, as well as domestic terrorism in the United States.  This research has appeared in several major journals, and has recently appeared in the Journal of Applied Security Research.  He has also written on youth politics in the United States.  Emanuel has received a number of grants supporting his research, including grants from SUNY as well as a Hayek Fund for Scholars grant supporting his time at Columbia University.  Emanuel is a certified NYS Police Academy instructor and has experience as a law enforcement officer in Suffolk County, NY.
