Event Description:

As the United States marks the first anniversary of President Trump’s second term, the foreign policy and national security landscape has undergone significant change, with important implications for America’s role in the international system. This panel brings together leading scholars in law, history, and political science to assess the administration’s most consequential foreign policy and national security decisions over the past year. The discussion will examine the effects of these decisions on U.S. alliances and international stability, identify patterns of continuity and rupture, and consider the implications for the remainder of President Trump’s second term and beyond.
