Saltzman Institute member Erica Lonergan has been awarded the 2025 Amos Perlmutter Prize for her recent article in the Journal of Strategic Studies, “Minding the Gap? The Strategic Logic of Cyber Coercion in Theory and Practice” (read article here). The prize, named in memory of the founding editor of the journal, recognizes the best essay submitted for publication to the Journal of Strategic Studies by a junior faculty member. It will be out in print in the first issue of 2026.
