Associate Professor in Columbia’s Department of Political Science and Member of the Saltzman Institute Pablo Pinto’s latest book, Politics and Foreign Direct Investment, has been published by the University of Michigan Press. The book, co-authored by Dr. Pinto and a range of experts in international political economy–Nathan Jensen, Glen Biglaeser, Quan Li, Edmund Malesky, Santiago Pinto, and Joseph Staats–examines which political characteristics of a country can help it to attract foreign direct investment.
