Please join the Columbia Turkish Students (CTS), The Turkish Heritage Organization (THO), and the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies (SIWPS) for a talk by General (Ret.) M. Ilker Başbuğ, Former Chief of the General Staff of Turkey.

General Başbuğ will discuss his new book, Incredible Story of a Transforming Leader: M. Kemal Ataturk and connect Turkey’s past to current events in Turkey and the Middle East. The General will also discuss U.S.- Turkey military cooperation, Turkey’s posture in the region, and the war against ISIS.
